1-BENZYL-2-AZETIDINECARBOXYLIC ACID - Introduction
-ACID, also known as 2-formic ACID -1-benzyl -2, 3-dihydro-1h-1, 4-benzothiazetidine -2-ester or BTA for short, it is an organic compound. Its molecular formula is C10H11NO2S and its relative molecular mass is 213.27g/mol.
ACID is often a white crystalline solid, soluble in Esters, alcohols and ketones solvents, slightly soluble in water. It has good thermal stability and flame retardant properties, can be widely used as a flame retardant in plastics, rubber and coatings and other materials, can improve the flame retardant properties of materials.
One method for preparing cyanoacid is to react benzothiophene with ethyl cyanoacetate, catalyze hydrogen chloride to form benzothiophene cyanoacetate, and then hydrolyze the product by heating.
Regarding safety information, ACID may be irritating to the skin and eyes, and contact with skin, eyes and respiratory tract should be avoided. Appropriate protective measures should be taken during use, such as wearing protective gloves and goggles to avoid inhalation of its vapors. If exposed, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help. In addition, it should also be stored in a dark, dry and well-ventilated place, away from fire and oxidizing agents.
